Chris Dew

Chris loves to preach the Gospel, teach the Bible, and pioneer Kingdom works in dark places. 

Chris was born with a severe stutter and unquenchable emptiness. He looked for anything that would calm his nerves and fill his void, which soon led him to drugs. By age 17, he was shooting up heroin daily and selling drugs to continue his habit.

On December 18th of 2010, Chris entered yet another rehab program weighing 100 lbs, deathly addicted to heroin, and still without the ability to talk. Six days later, he attended a church down the street from the rehab center and heard the Gospel. That night everything changed. Jesus snatched him out of hell and gave him a taste of the pleasure he'd been looking for.

Shortly after, God called him to preach and teach. Over the next few years, Jesus began healing Chris's voice and began to open doors for him to share his story, preach the gospel, and teach the Bible on many different platforms across the world. He's had the privilege of speaking at hundreds of events and has seen thousands of people saved, set free, and sent on mission by Jesus Christ. He has also written a book, The Real Answer to Addiction.

Chris did undergraduate work in Psychology with a focus on substance abuse at Liberty University and is set to graduate with a Master's in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2023. He is ordained for Gospel ministry through NewSpring Church in SC. Chris lives with his wife, Kathleen, and two daughters, Evelyn Joy and Quinn, in South Carolina. He loves good coffee and CrossFit.
