Three Things You'll Do at CRWC16

by:  Josh Consalvo, CDHX

Maybe you’re on the fence about registering your group for Crossroads Winter Conference this year, or perhaps this is your first year coming to join us in Gatlinburg, or maybe you’ve been with us for years. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, here are a few things that I’ve come to look forward to in my many years attending Winter Conference.

Go Deeper

As a student and believer for many years, I always looked forward to Winter Conference because it was a chance to be challenged and go deeper in my walk with the Lord. At Winter Conference you’ll get to hear messages rooted deeply in God’s word from Clayton King, Algernon Tennyson, and Marian Jordan. The breakout sessions are also another opportunity for you to choose from a variety of speakers that will push you towards a deeper knowledge of the Lord. No matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, you are guaranteed to be challenged and refreshed at Winter Conference.

Grow Closer

Winter Conference is a great time to grow closer in your relationships with one another. We’ve intentionally created a flexible weekend that allows time for your group to simply enjoy one another’s company. Winter Conference has always been a time where I could have real, genuine conversations with the people who I still consider to be my closest friends. Your students will also get to reunited with some of our staff from summer camp and past Winter Conferences!

Get Silly

Not only will you grow closer to one another and go deeper in your walk with the Lord, but at Winter Conference you’ll also have one of the most fun and memorable weekends of your life. If you’ve never been to Gatlinburg, well...the best way I can describe it is a tourist’s dream. During free time, you’ll get to explore the city by eating at cool restaurants, buying fudge, getting an airbrushed t-shirt, and perhaps even playing some blacklight mini-golf.

These are just a few of the things that makes Winter Conference so great! We are SO excited about what the Lord is going to do this year, and can not wait for you to join us in Gatlinburg. See you in the mountains!
