"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42
The Crossroads Discipleship Home (CDH) is a property located in Anderson, SC that is designed to house up to eight young adults who have had prior relationship with our ministry. The CDH participants will live under the supervision of the Program Directors or "house parents" who direct the participants through a year-long program of community building, personal interest projects, internships, and staff positions with Crossroads Summer Camp, and spending one-on-one time with various members of the community.
Our goal with the Crossroads Discipleship Home is to create a safe and warm place for young men and women to live and experience one year of deliberate discipleship, under the care and leadership of House Parents.
At the end of one year, we expect to send out all participants with a sense of purpose and direction, a firm grasp on how to build and participate in community, an understanding and dedication to the process of discipleship, and an overall vision for the reproduction of the values of God’s Kingdom wherever they go.
The Four Goals of the CDH Program
Community - To let you experience authentic fellowship and to train you to reproduce it.
Discipleship - To strengthen you in your walk with Christ and to model for you how to disciple others.
Service - To give you opportunities to serve others in this community in practical ways and prepare you for a life of service wherever you live.
Preparation - To prepare you for the next step of your life and for a life of active participation in the Kingdom and the Church Community.
