As 2013 draws to a close, I wanted to reach out to those who love and pray for our ministry and ask you specifically for prayer as well as support for a huge opportunity that God has placed in our laps.
From 1998-2006, I was heavily involved in radio ministry, beginning in Charlotte and eventually moving to Greenville, SC where my call-in show "Clayton King Live" was syndicated and airing in over 60 cities around the US. But when our children began growing up, God closed the door on radio ministry.
Now it seems as if that door has been opened again. I have been invited byWMIT / Blue Ridge Broadcasting to join their radio ministry. Founded by Billy Graham over 50 years ago, 106.9 The Light broadcasts from Asheville, NC and is still owned by The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. You can imagine my excitement when they asked me to begin preaching on their radio network, since Billy Graham has been my earthly hero for 25 years.
They've asked me to preach Monday-Friday mornings beginning January 1. They will also begin broadcasting 60-second sermon clips every single hour of every single day, year-round. That means I will have an opportunity to preach the gospel 24 times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to hundreds of thousands of people all over the Southeast United States!
Here's where I need your help. Our ministry will have to cover the cost of producing hundreds of radio broadcasts, sermon series' and sermon clips. This is not a cost we had budgeted for because we had no idea this opportunity would be handed to us. The total cost for the first year of producing this content will be $25,000.
I am asking you to pray for us. This is one of the most amazing opportunities I've ever had to preach the gospel in a culture that desperately needs Jesus. Will you pray for me?
I am also asking you to partner with us financially. We are a small ministry and we are extremely careful with our budget each year. This is an expense we had not planned for, but we sense that we need to step out in faith and say yes to this invitation, inspite of the fact that we don't currently have the resources to produce these radio sermons.

Will you help us raise $25,000 at the end of this year so we can proclaim the gospel to hundreds of thousands of people in 2014? All gifts received or postmarked before January 1 are tax-deductible for 2013. Thank you for your prayers! Please stand with us as we seek to PREACH THE GOSPEL AND MAKE DISCIPLES!
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
